Arthur Copley (b 1903-d 1976)

Started in the case shop in 1917, and then later moved onto bow work which he continued for the next thirty years.

He is said not to have enjoyed the work. In his last year for Hill he moved back to making cases. and left in 1960.

His bows for Hill are stamped with the no 1.
